Materials Testing Larry M. Jacobs & Associates, Inc. specializes in providing quality and professional construction materials testing services. We have two full service construction materials testing laboratories located in downtown Pensacola and in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. We also have a professional engineering staff on hand at our Pensacola office to monitor materials testing and ensure quality and to provide assistance when problems arise during construction.
The following lists represent the most common concrete and soil materials testing services we provide. Additional materials tests can be provided upon request. We can also provide full time personnel or be on call for testing and quality control services as needed.

Established in 1976, we
have over 30 years of experience in providing construction materials testing
services for Pensacola and the surrounding Gulf Coast area. Our technicians are
certified by Troxler Electronic Laboratories, Inc. and CPN
to perform nuclear density tests and by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) to
perform concrete and aggregate materials testing. We have an ACI certified
Aggregate Field Testing Technician, a FDOT certified Limerock Bearing Ratio (LBR)
Technician, and a FDOT Earthwork Construction Inspector. We maintain a
conscientious program of continuing education in order to provide current up
to date materials testing services. We routinely monitor
pile-driving operations and auger cast pile installation, perform inspections
and tests of soil, concrete, post-tension cables, asphalt, and steel. We
also offer complete vibration monitoring services using the latest vibration
recording equipment. And,
if a standard for a test does not exist, we can make one up. We have laboratories in both Pensacola and Ft.
Walton Beach so we can respond quickly to your materials testing needs.
