A
proper subsurface exploration is vital to the success of any project.
Knowing the soil and groundwater conditions that exist at your site is very
important. When you place a load (i.e. a structure) on the soil, for
example, it causes a stress in the soil beneath the load, and the geotechnical
engineer will use the data obtained in the subsurface exploration to determine
how this will influence the structure. A subsurface exploration can also
determine if it is economically feasible to build on a piece of property.
We work together with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers and Architects on a
variety of projects.
