This
has to be the most frequently asked question. How long a project will take
depends on several factors including the size of the project, the complexity of
the soils at the project and, of course, our current work load. We
understand that for some projects time is more important than for others so we
work hard to meet our client's time schedules. Producing a geotechnical
engineering report involves many phases. The first phase is the
subsurface exploration phase where we gather soil and groundwater
information in the field. The next phase is classification and laboratory
testing. Once the soils have been classified and tested, it is time for
the analysis phase or the geotechnical engineering evaluation. It is in
this phase that the engineer uses the data obtained in the subsurface
exploration and laboratory testing to provide recommendations for a project.
