Kimberly is our business extraordinaire! She handles the finances, Human Resources, and operations. What we love best about her?  She throws the best birthday celebrations! California born, Hawaii raised and now a Pensacola Beach lover, she moved to the Emerald Coast in 2015 to grab a little spot of heaven with her husband, She has 7 children, 3 grand babies, and 1 racing greyhound named Love.

Manny began his career as an engineering technician in 1997 and has over 25 years of experience in the construction testing and inspection field. Manny ‘s experience includes management, laboratory testing and quality control, materials testing of concrete and soil, special inspections of concrete and masonry, and pile hammer analysis and pile monitoring. Manny is also responsible for setting up and running static pile load tests. Whether he is in the office or in the field his kindness and professionalism are infectious, and he keeps the spirits high for our team.

This Army infantry veteran joined LMJ in 2021. While he may be new to LMJ, Robin has over 20 years of experience in the testing of concrete, aggregates, soils, and other construction materials in the field and in the laboratory. As the lab manager for LMJ Robin ensures compliance with the quality system for all areas of testing and maintains the laboratory Quality Management System and AASHTO certifications. Robin takes pride in his work and in keeping the laboratory clean and organized and is a critical member of the LMJ team.  When he isn’t busy in the lab, this Pawpaw is just as busy at home keeping up with his sweetheart of 30 years and their 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Terry has over 18 years of experience. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1995. Terry’s expertise is in geology and hydrogeology, and he has worked in Texas with expansive soils and in Birmingham with Appalachian soils before coming to LMJ in 2002. Terry also does our Phase 1s and tends to be the voice of calm around a bunch of hyper people. He’s not a morning person, but he’s usually the last person to leave every day.

Juell has 29 years of experience in civil and geotechnical engineering applications with a background in computer science. He began his career as a civil engineering technician with the United States Navy in 1992. Juell’s experience includes laboratory management, field assessments, materials testing, stormwater management inspections, subsurface concrete and utility scanning, pile hammer analysis and pile monitoring, traffic control, preexisting condition surveys, and rebar inspections. He has a strong commitment to helping our clients be successful and facilities teamwork for our crew.

Keith started working at LMJ behind a drill rig at the age of 15. He graduated with honors from UCF with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2002. Since then, Keith has gained extensive expertise in geotechnical engineering on more than a thousand projects. As president, Keith picked up where his father left off and is committed to leading the company with the same values. He has an identical twin and is outnumbered in a house with four little girls (including his own set of identical twins) and a little man.

Larry is recognized as the expert in geotechnical engineering in our area and has worked across the southeast from North Carolina to Texas. Larry began his career in the Navy’s Civil Engineer Corp in Vietnam and came to Pensacola while in the Navy. In 1976, Larry founded Larry M. Jacobs & Associates, Inc. When Larry is in the office, he can’t hide from his world famous laugh, and when he’s not, he’s probably working on the “Honey Do” list or cruising in some exotic location with his “lovely bride.”

Val joined LMJ in March of 2016 as a CAD technician and quickly moved into project management. Val is originally from Romania and earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Cluj in 2014. He earned his EIT in September of 2019 and received his Florida and Alabama Professional Engineering licenses in 2022. Val’s experience includes analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations, flexible and rigid pavement, stormwater systems, sheet pile walls and preloading; augercast piles; settlement analysis; the evaluation of settled structures; value engineering; and project management.

Val is fluent in Romanian, Russian and English. While Val’s wife is also Romanian they actually met here in the states and married in 2018. Val and his beautiful wife reside in Orange Beach, Alabama. When Val can find a bit of free time you can find him woodworking, cycling, dabbling in photography, and traveling overseas.

Terry is our NDT Department Manager. With over 40 years of performing materials testing, NDT, and weld inspections, Terry brings invaluable experience to our team. Terry can perform a variety of NDT services including liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and visual testing.
